As such we are very excited to present the 2ND ANNUAL PRIDE IMPACT AWARD! This award recognizes future leaders in our industry that are making a real difference for the LGBTQ+ community.
One veterinary student and two veterinary technician students will be awarded the UVC PRIDE IMPACT AWARD to thank them for their contribution and help them on their student journey.
2021 WINNER - ASHLEA TENORIO
Ashlea Tenorio (She/Her/Hers) is a 3rd year veterinary student at Texas A&M where she is the President of Pride SVMC and an active member of the Committee for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Accountability (C-IDEA). Her passion and commitment to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion has enhanced on-campus visibility and support of the LGBTQ+ community.
