Our Team

Richard has over 11 years of experience as a senior executive within the animal health industry and over 20 years in the healthcare industry overall.

During his career Rich has led business development efforts and teams for some of the biggest players in animal health, including VCA Antech and Trupanion Medical Insurance, where he was a C-suite level executive and member of their corporate governance team.  Prior to joining UVC, Richard was the lead consultant for one of Europe's largest private equity firms working on projects with a Total Enterprise Value of ~$4 billion dollars.

With UVC from before the very beginning, Richard laid the foundation for success by creating the strategic plan that brought together the founding members, private equity partner and his experience in managing successful enterprise level animal health organizations to create what is now known as United Veterinary Care.

Richard is extremely passionate about helping veterinary professionals develop solutions that will ultimately lead to a better patient outcome and along with a greater customer experience. As Chief of Staff, Richard’s role is to integrate UVC’s value proposition across the entire enterprise to ensure that all initiatives are aligned with UVC’s Mission and Vision and support our member hospitals enjoy even greater success.
